Your Vision, Our Experience

SEATTLE, Washington — For the second year in a row, Übermind’s annual charitable donations exceeded $20,000. Spurred in large part by the Matching Gift Program, 2007 corporate contributions slightly outpaced the results from 2006 in both the number of organizations donated to and the total amount given.

“This is the second year that we’ve had over 50% participation in the [Matching Gift] program,” said Brooke Walker, Übermind’s Controller. “While it’s too soon to call it a company tradition, we’re proud of the pattern of employee giving that is developing.”

Some of the charities donated to include: the Ballard Food Bank, Bikeworks, CARE, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Washington, the Emergency Food Network, the Foundation Fighting Blindness, History in our Hands, the Meow Cat Rescue, the One Laptop Per Child Foundation, PAWS, Real Change, the Nature Conservancy, Toys for Tots, the United States Mission, and Wikimedia.
